Reid Prinzo is a member of a financial advising team at Bryant Asset Management and he focuses on helping successful individuals, families, and business owners pursue their various investment goals. Reid guides his clients, helping them grow and preserve their assets over multiple generations. Reid joined the Bryant Asset Management Team in 2019. He is a native of Glenmont, NY, a 2003 graduate of Bethlehem Central High School, and a 2007 graduate of Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Reid entered the financial services industry in 2007 and has been helping his clients meet their investment goals ever since.
With over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, Reid is well-versed in the financial planning needs of individuals, families, and businesses. Prior to joining the team at Bryant Asset Management, Reid spent 2 years at Transamerica Retirement Services focusing on 401(k) Retirement plans, before moving on to a 9-year career at MFS Investment Management in Boston, one of the country’s largest investment firms. MFS Investment Management is known as the firm that invented the mutual fund and it today handles more than $425 Billion in assets for clients around the globe.
Additionally, in 2016, Reid earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Fewer than 1 in 5 candidates are able to pass the CFA® Designation Program, and it takes on average over 1000 hours of intensive study to earn the charter. CFA® charterholders are trained on expert level portfolio management skills, as well as tax and inter-generational wealth planning topics. Most importantly, CFA® charterholders are bound by the highest ethical standards in the financial industry.
Reid and his wife, Elise (also a Glenmont native) now live in the Slingerlands area with their son Chase, and their Wheaten Terrier named Birdie. Reid is an avid golfer and plays at Colonie Country Club in Voorheesville. He also enjoys concerts at SPAC, time spent at Great Sacandaga Lake, World travel, and relaxing with family and friends.
